Kyocera Chemical Corporation developed halogen-/antimony-free PPE copper clad laminates. There are two type laminates for high frequency application:

• TLC-593: Double-sided Application
• TLC-591: Multilayer Application

Nihon Superior is pleased and proud to announce that that its unique "SN100C" lead-free solder has been selected by the Osaka Prefectural Government's Environmental Pollution Control Center as a product that reduces the release of hazardous materials into the environment.

This selection was made on the recommendation of the Technology Assessment Committee of the prefecture's "Project on Assessment and Dissemination of Environment Technology".

The Technology Assessment Committee is made up of academic experts and the decision was made with the assistance of advice from the Research and Testing Department of the Osaka Prefectural Government.

Mitsubishi Electric announced high power type lead-free solder photovoltaic module for overseas market. Mitsubishi will begin sales of lead-free solar panel modules in overseas markets on April 1, 2005. Sales will be focused mainly in the expanding potential markets of the United States and Europe for on-grid use.
